I didn't have the best week last week, but things are starting to improve. My hip still a little sore at times which meant no running for most of the week, however I did manage to try a little walk/run on the Sunday with my lovely friend Kerry which was pain free, so fingers crossed that means I could start to add a bit of running into this weeks training plan. So after my last moan about my hip, I have seen a physio to see what was wrong with it, and without having a scan it's hard to tell. So I rested for a week and now doing my exercises twice a day that my physio gave me to see if it can help strengthen everything around my hip as we noticed my stability around my hip was pretty poor. Ups and Downs over the past few months
Its been a busy few months! I spent a few weeks recovering from Ironman Lanzarote, then decided in July to attempt a 100 mile TT up in Yorkshire which was a big learning curve. I have completed a 50 miles TT in which I broke the course record. July and August I completed a few swim races and a middle distance triathlon, all of these races I learnt in, whether it was understanding a bit more about my nutrition or needing to tweak my bike a little.
