Just under 7 weeks to go........
I didn't have the best week last week, but things are starting to improve.
My hip still a little sore at times which meant no running for most of the week, however I did manage to try a little walk/run on the Sunday with my lovely friend Kerry which was pain free, so fingers crossed that means I could start to add a bit of running into this weeks training plan.

As most of you know I had all these high hopes of trying to podium in my age group at Kona and now all I can think about is shit I hope I can complete it. It's going to be the toughest day of my life, AH SCARY!!!
I feel that my swimming and biking is kind of going in the right direction, and adding a few extras strength sessions into replace my running might just keep my legs in good condition for the run. I must try and stay focused, and remind myself of what an achievement it is to even get this far.
I have mixed feelings of anxiousness and excitement about the Ironman World Champs, I still can't run properly, and its going to be the biggest race of my life. Gosh this still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it, I have to sometimes pinch myself to remind me that I have finally qualified and am actually going.
I am still trying to save money for the trip, I am pretty sure this will be my only attempt at Kona, unless my dreams of becoming a professional happen (I can keep dreaming) as this trip is costing a fortune.
I know I have mentioned this before but I really couldn't have ever managed to afford this without all your support so thank you everyone for donating money I am truly grateful.
So I have also decided to add some of my sessions to my updates so you can see what joyful sessions I have.
This week I have chosen last Sundays afternoon swim session with Jason Tait , he has very kindly let me share this to you all. ENJOY!

Happy Training!!! xxx .
