

4 amazing days in the Lake District
Well what an amazing 4 days I had in the Lake District, its such a beautiful place and we were blessed with amazing weather all weekend which isn't that common up in the Lakes. First day of 3 in the Lake District
So I decided to take a road trip up to the Lake District to get familer with the bike and run course for my next challenge. In 3 weeks in am hoping to complete the Ultra X Ironman. We drive up at 4am this morning to miss all the traffic, got up to the lakes by 9.30 so drive went pretty smoothly. We then headed out on the bikes for a easy bike. Well that’s what I thought..... Mallorca 70.3 completed!
5 days ago I raced Mallorca 70.3 after having 4 years off of triathlon as wanted to bike race instead. Ok, Mallorca didn't go as well as I had hoped but oh my, I have missed triathlons!!! We headed out to Mallorca 3 days before the race with Trevor and a group of other fellow triathletes. We stayed in a lovely villa which was a 10 minute walk to where the race in Alcudia was taking place, Mallorca is such a nice place to race, I love riding out there. The Wednesday we arrived
The triathlon season has nearly begun!
So, Mallorca 70.3 is less than 2 weeks away. I am feeling confident I will get round but how quickly is another question........... I came back to triathlon thinking my bike would be the strongest discipline however since running and swimming more my bike legs feel like they have just disappeared.
